   I'm fairly certain they're Filipino. There's a lot of them in the UAE serving as maids. Perhaps on their downtime they go out into the streets looking for some extra income.

   I am literally in tears laughing about the donkey story. Just the fact that it was standing around the campsite after you had gone to bed and just made a loud ass noise (see what I did there?) randomly is just the funniest thing in the world to me at 5 AM in the morning on no sleep, hahaha.
