  1. Galveston has a fog delay problem Spring, Fall and especially Winter. The Caribbean routes offered and many Mexico/east coast and central America ports are lack-lustre/dangerous.

  2. I sailed out of Miami on NCL in April 2022 and the on boarding was horrible so cutting staff there if it is the customer facing staff they are making a huge mistake

  3. Boy stop! Mechanical bull 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Always love hearing good news about my home port Galveston. I keep telling folks Galveston TX is all that. Thank you for the update.

  4. That doesn't sound like a cruise mistake, more like paranoia. She must be very rich to waste $17,000

  5. Will still call the boats from ship to shore a tender and the great individual that takes care of us is still a steward.
Who comes up with this stuff?

  6. We are Texas cruisers and not happy that they are bringing in yet another large ship.
Guess we will be driving the 8 hours to NOLA to be able to cruise on a smaller ship.

  7. 4:21 my condolences to the family of the lady that went overboard. I wonder if the cruise lines will look at this recent spike of these events and put plexiglass up to avoid these tragedies

  8. So is the CEO of Norwegian named Ebenezer? Maybe he’ll be visited by three spirits who’ll convince him to renege on his decision!

  9. And my son was homeported in Galveston in 2005, with Katrina, Rita, and Wilma on his USCG cutter giving rides to people whose rafts and overloaded ships were sinking. A really nice port but frequently really windy

  10. Service Charge Increase Letter – NCL I received this letter via email from NCL on Saturday, December 17, 2022

  11. Texas cruiser here. I'm glad they are bringing new ships to Galveston, but unfortunately the itineraries could use some work.

  12. Considering "steward" & "stewardess" are gender specific terms, some cruise lines have been using "attendant" for quite a long time.

  13. "Cabin Attendent" is ok, sounds better than Steward, love your videos and good info. I am told Galveston is the 4 th most busy or biggest in the us for cruise ports. We use that port all the time

  14. Haha … Would be freaking awesome if saddling a horse was one of the requirements! Be even more awesome if there was a way to ride horses on the ship. Probably need higher railings. Those rascals can jump, you know!

  15. Oh Tony… did the Brit who said "fanny flutters" to you make it clear that fanny, in the UK, means lady bits?

  16. We live in San Antonio, and have exclusively cruised out of Galveston on Royal Caribbean for the last several years. November 27th was our first time to see the new terminal…we were blown away! One thing we'd like to see more of is more locations, and maybe a couple of voyages that last longer than 7 days. We may try Princess, and we'd sure love to see Norweigian and MSC show up to the Galveston game!!

  17. I live in Texas. I've never ridden a mechanical bull and I don't own cowboy boots. I should also mention I retired in TX from WI…maybe that's the issue…LOL
