In this Japan Vlog, we visit Hiroshima, spending the day in the area around the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. We knew this would be a tough day, and we were right. However, we also didn’t know that Hiroshima’s grief would pave way for a new message to emerge – one of hope.

Thank you so much for visiting Hiroshima and showing it to the world ❤
The history of Hiroshima was a really sad and awful.
So many people died but I hope they will be the last victims by nuclear weapons in the world.
Have been following your channel only recently and enjoying the content. this video makes me love you guys even more. Keep travelling and sharing its great to see you make content like this 🙂
If am not mistaken, a fact I learned in Hiroshima is that since they lost all their trees in the blast, all the regions and other cities in Japan gifted Hiroshima new trees to plant so all the beautiful big trees around the city were gifts of solidarity which thought was beautiful.
Prob best to google that to fact check! Hopefully I remembered correctly 🙂
Your video was beautifully done. Thank you for sharing! The world has never been the same since that moment.
How about Pearl Harbor
Next time do your report on the USS Arizona please
Beautiful video.
Growing up, we all learned about Little Boy & Fat Man. But this memorial hits home in a way that a textbook never could.
Again, really well-done video, you two ❤
Thank you for reporting on the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. I am very grateful as Being A=bombed Ⅱ.
Arigato. Thank you
Thank you very much: I appreciate for your kindness:
I think it's a very noble video.😢
I strongly hope for world peace.🙏
I am Japanese
Born after the war and raised in Japan, where freedom, democracy and economic prosperity
In particular, I want Americans to know that this museum is not intended to be anti-America.
And what I want to hope now is that the third city in the world that uses atomic bombs will never be born.
Welcome to Japan🙌 and thank you for coming to Hiroshima and letting us know what happened. Few people hate Americans anymore. We love each other's cultures. I wish you peace 🤲🇯🇵🇺🇸
I’m glad you guys visited this place. I hope someday humans realize absurdity of killing each other. There are much more important things to do in this world than engaging in a war.
No buts and what abouts. War is not okay.
Been following your channel, always enjoy your detailed research and informative narration, but this is the best , thanks for your honest and heartfelt comments. I visited Hiroshima once, and Nagasaki is the place I want to visit, okay dropped one in Hiroshima and Japan was ready to surrender, but why another one in Nagasaki? just to test a different kind of A-bomb?
Again, thanks for this great video.
Thank you for coming to this place in Hiroshima. I cried with you for the first time in a long time.
No more sad wars like this. We Japanese do not hold a grudge against Americans.
The relationship between the United States and Japan is very effective now.
Today's video really moved me. thank you.❤
your tender tears made beautiful rainbow
You shot this video beautifully
A touching video! Thank you for presenting this event 😢 ☔️ 🌈
I have visited Pearl Harbor with my American friends who took their families to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki later on in.
I had a sense of healing when I saw our former prime minister Abe and President Obama together visited both Hiroshima and Pearl Harbor.
Thank you for visiting Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima.
The rainbow looks like a thank you from Hiroshima to Bill and Heather.
Please come to Japan again and again ! thank you so much.
I know this is a somber and dismal comment, but I also know it’s important and relevant to what’s happening in the world right now.
As has been said too many times, history repeats itself.
[Japan has just announced an unprecedented US$320b military build-up because of the increasing threats from Russia, China and North Korea.]
Russia and North Korea, yes and yes! But, China? Not really. Japan needs to differentiate China from Russia and North Korea (blatantly despotic rogue nations).
[Japan and the world need to know better : Don’t regard/treat China the same as Russia.]
Don’t push China closer to Russia by regarding it to be another threat let alone the same level of threat as Russia. Instead, JPN must fundamentally change its attitude towards China and try to be more of an ally than an enemy. Then, it would help hasten the collapse of PooTin’s RottenSia.
It must be recognized that China has not been aggressive and invasive like Russia has always been. As the world’s superpowers, there’s a stark contrast between Russia and China.
While Russia relies almost solely on its military power and natural resources, China has been trying to dominate the world mostly with its economic and technological power. In short, Russia is mostly about muscle power while China is all about brain power. There must be a huge difference in the IQ levels between these two nations.
For China, the rich nations in the West are important clients for its exports, and naturally it wants them to have enough money to buy its products and services (mainly tourism) with their economy staying in a good shape, while Russia is trying to destroy it. So, there’s a fundamentally conflicting interest between Russia and China in dealing with geopolitics.
Moreover, quite like the relationship between China and India in BRICS, China and Russia are not really allies. Their relationship mostly stands on a fragile “my enemy’s enemy is a friend” basis. Actually, China and Russia have historically been enemies and had territorial disputes.
So, just like companies care so much about their public (or brand) images, China can and should try not to appear to be in support of the brutal and ugly nation, PooTin’s RottenSia. China must try harder to differentiate itself from Russia, but alas, so far China doesn’t seem to be smart enough and hasn’t done much in this respect.
I am a Japanese man living in America. I am so glad that my parents did not teach me hatred toward the United States when I was a child. Once my father said to me, the war does not bring anything good to anybody but unhappiness.
Step 1 go to Hawaii Pearl Harbor Memorial. Step 2 go to South Korea WW.II Memorial. Step 3 Hiroshima and Nagasaki is WW.II Karma.
