In this short, we are in Sanjo, Niigata, Japan attending another Kezuroukai or Japanese Plane Competition. The Kanna or Japanese Plane is a very difficult tool to master. It takes years of practice to sharpen and prepare the wooden block (Kanna Dai) (鉋台) to be able to compete at the level that people here.
