I made a brief stop in Kokura to check out the sites. A new trip to the castle, including mechanical samurai and interactive model of old Kokura, and a pit stop at the ramen stadium for soy ramen made for a nice stop over on my way to Fukuoka. If you are looking to do something before you hop on or after you get off the shinkansen this video will have you covered.
