Yanagawa, Great Day Trip From Fukuoka 🛶 Canal & 🐍 Eel

We visited Yanagawa in Fukuoka Prefecture. It’s known as “the city of water” and “the Venice of Kyushu.” It’s about an hour’s train ride from Fukuoka City.
Yanagawa was once a castle town. The scenic destination is popular for boat rides on the canals. It’s also famous for its local cuisine, steamed eel. It’s a great day trip from Fukuoka City.
