The video was filmed on Saturday, December 10, 2022. The weather was not cold.

Hello. A lot of COVID-19 passed, and now there were a lot of people coming to Myeong-dong. I think a lot of people gather to see the Christmas decorations and illuminations of Lotte Department Store and Shinsegae Department Store located in Myeong-dong, Seoul. Please note that there will be a lot of people on Christmas.

When I visited Myeong-dong at the end of the year for the past two to three years, there were not many people because of COVID-19, but it was nice to see them revitalized and amazing. But most of the shops were still closed. The high rent and the aftermath of the corona didn’t seem to be over yet. Instead, street food vendors were very lively, and they caught the eye as they sold a variety of foods than before.

    It seems temperatures have dropped a lot since my visit in October!😅But it's great that people are returning to 명동, let's hope the shops recover!🛍 Although I still wonder how you manage to walk past all those street food vendors – I would have bought some 닭꼬치, 붕어빵, 호떡, 떡볶이, croffle, … 😍
