I went to NYC the last wk in November & it was truly magical. At the Bryant Park Christmas Market I bought a few gorgeous menโs silk scarves, from a young start up company. The Rockettes Holiday Extravaganza was spectacular. Lots of walking, window gazing. Had a tour of Brooklyn, hoping to return & visit the boroughs. Loved it.๐จ๐ฆ
Spent Christmas in NYC with my parents back in 2008! We did what you considered was right, though we skipped the Outer Boroughs. Anyway, we had a beautiful time! Merry Christmas from Ottawa, Canada!
Damn, I was there yesterday!! I wonder when this was filmed.
I understand her passion about showing us the wonderful city and getting new customers…but she really didn't have to scream so loud the entire time ๐
Great video, and thanks for introducing us to Megan! I lived in NYC for 8 years and these are tried and true tips for visiting NY in December! The only tip Iโll add is to be mindful of rush hour times if youโre a tourist in Midtown, because people are trying to get to and from work in December, too, haha! ๐
Bryant Park market is fun. Christmas in NYC is not to be missed.
Thank you so much for having me! It was an honor to show you around NYC.
Awesome video
Christmas is always a magical time in New York City.
This was actually pretty good advice. My daughter lives in NYC and I've been up there during the holidays several times. There is so much to see. NY is THE BEST city in the US for Christmas. It's like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Americans owe it to themselves to do it at least once in their lifetimes. Good job!
i would also say dont think manhattan is the only place you can stay to do nyc, all the boroughs have good air bnbs if you look and easy access to manhattan i really like staying on staten island and taking the ferry over, also parts of north jersey, jersey city, newark etc are options and another i might suggest, philadelphia, a little cheaper than nyc has christmas stuff plenty and a reasonable day trip distance from nyc you can take a train up and day trip manhattan from philadelphia.
Great Video!
Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family, Mark!

Nothing like a video to start out saying how expensive it is and to tip tip tip..i love your others video's but tip girl….
Iโm coming in February!! Canโt wait! Got a great deal on the New Yorker hotel and got my wool garments at the ready!๐๐
Hi, Mark! I'd definitely love to see another colab with Meghan (sorry if I misspelled her name).
She right about expensive
I live in Connecticut–about an hour's train ride from NYC, and I agree with all your tips. I've made many trips into New York at Christmas, and it's magical. I have to say that while you talked about the crowds on Fifth Avenue around Rockefeller Center and the department store windows, I think they're worse than you described. I was nearly crushed in a mob near Rockefeller Center one year while visiting with some friends from work, and it really scared me. It might be a good idea to research when peak crowd times are at those places and plan accordingly. Now I always walk down Madison Avenue and cross over to Fifth later to avoid encountering this again. Another great place to visit at Christmas is Little Italy. Mulberry Street is beautiful this time of year, and after walking around in the cold, there's nothing like a yummy bowl of pasta and a glass of wine to bring you back to life. I didn't know about the guided tours, and I will definitely try to book one the next time I visit the city. Thanks for this awesome video.
We are planning a weekend in Brooklyn in September. Iโm def booking a private tour with Megan โค
On behalf of all New Yorkers, don't come into the city for SantaCon. Ever.
