This time I drive around the upscale area of District 7, Phú Mỹ Hưng, affectionately called Korean Town, in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam I will update you on my life and YouTube channel since my last Moto Vlog as I explore Phú Mỹ Hưng. It is called Korean town because that is where most Korean businesses are located. The area is quiet, shady, peaceful and pricey. Filmed in 4K 60 FPS

Thank you very much everyone for all the love you send my way. I assure you, the feeling is mutual.

I am an American Expat in Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam. (I dislike the word Expatriate). I have lived in Vietnam for 3 years, I am almost considered an expert at living abroad. As I live, work and travel in Vietnam and south east Asia, I want to take you around with me to show you what I saw in Vietnam, in South East Asia and talk with you about my experiences living in Saigon HCMC and take you with me as I travel vlog around Vietnam and South East Asia in 2022. I am not a backpacker but I started by wanting to backpack through South East Asia. I was going to just visit of vacation, but I was going to take part in tourism activities. I was going to be a globetrotting tourist but I never really planed to document mytravels. Was going to be a long holiday trip, maybe I would become a digital nomad. But I knew Vietnam would be my home when I got here, now Saigon is my home, where I work and live, but I still plan to motor bike across Asia, motovlog Vietnam, moto vlog South East Asia, dare I motorbike into China? And also fly around South East Asia, to tour and travel, But for now, this is my Vietnam life, my HCMC Saigon life, my expat life. I always thought living abroad would be scary, but it’s interesting and fulfilling. The food is amazing, the culture is fascinating and the people are friendly and welcoming. If you ever wanted to take the leap to travel and live abroad, Tourism in Vietnam is buzzing right now since Vietnam reopens. I am often asked: are Vietnam borders open? Yes indeed, tourism reopened in 2022. Want to know what I saw in Vietnam and my life in HCMC Saigon. What I think about Vietnam and traveling and living abroad? What to do in Vietnam? How do live in Asia? What to do in Saigon? How to work, or work as a teacher in Asia? How to get a visa or what a digital nomads life could be like in Asia or Vietnam? What is it like to be an Expat in Vietnam and South East Asia? I am an expat, a Saigon Vlogger, a HCMC vlogger, a moto vlogger, a lifestyle vlogger, a digital nomad resource, a Saigon nightlife vlogger, an immigrant, a migrant worker. I make vlogma videos, (wth is vlogma) I want a daily vlog, but ain’t got the time. But I can do a video diary, which makes me an online creator. Why anyone would watch vloggers as bad as me, I don’t know. Sometimes I make food vlogs, foodporn? Did you know yum in Vietnams mean “horn..”, well, neverminded. I hope you will feel encouraged by my channel. I will show you a lot of things like how to live abroad, how to be a digital nomad, how to work in Asia, how to experience Vietnam, how to make friends and build a life in Asia, how to enjoy the culture and food. How to be a gamer in Asia. How to live a life in Asia, like a normal person. How to be a happy person. I am not a Vietnam digital nomad in HCMC. But I know a few. Did you actually read all that? Tell me in the comments that you did and I will give you shoutout in my next video. Some keywords I like to include are: phu my hung

  1. I believe it is socially acceptable in VN to call friends/family or significant other Ugly and Fat, or resembling a certain farm animal. Hilarious……

  2. You can just stay at home and get beer for like 20K and you can save money on gas fees too.

  3. I believe that Vietnamese doctors are among the best in the world for these reasons.
    A) Selective Admission test for Medical Uni in VN is arguably the toughest & so many applicants sit for the test, given the VN population density is probably the highest.
    B) The Patient to Medic Dr is much higher than in USA, Korea or developed nations i.e., VNmese doctors have much more experience then their counterparts in richer countries.
    C) VN becomes the global hub for everything since the Viet Expats are scattering all over the world as a repercussion of wars & economic embargo … These Viet expats frequently come back & exchange their knowledge & exp that absorbed from overseas to the VNmese doctors & even advice them, help them to purchase medic equipment or supplies &
    D) I'm a Vietnamese, so I always am biased in favour of my fellow country men/women. Of course I'd sing them high

  4. I already subscribe to your channel. Hope it would be a little help your channel to be more popular. I used to work in Ben Tre, Vietnam for years and I often to go HCM during weekend for self entertainment. Vietnam is like my second hometown so I watch youtube about Vietnam very often. There is one mini restaurant in HCM (I'm not sure I call it correctly) on 2nd floor of Annam Gourmet near Sheraton hotel that I always go there to drink wine, relax and enjoy watching people.
By the way, may I comment one point. When you ride motorbike, especially when you turn right and left, could you please make it slower. Sometimes, scenes moving too fast, make me headache.
    Take care!

  5. Wow great video. District 7 looks wonderful. So many trees. The skygarden looks really cool as well.
Overlooking the football fields would be pretty cool. Do they have tennis courte there as well?

  6. at 26:44 I like the look of that bike. That is more my style(Though it could use some saddle bags). I saw the harley dealer as well 😀 You rock.

  7. Tôi cảm thấy nội dung trên trên của bạn khá tốt và thực tế . Với tôi như thế quá ok rồi anh bạn . Thân !

  8. I think most viewers would want to see Bars and Clubbing review, try it out and see the results, I bet you will double your audiences and subscribers very quickly. If people visit vn, we want to know the best bars and lounges to go, places with good beer, nice dancers, from roof top to underground spots. One time I was in vn, a local girl took me to some underground club where we can drink until sunrise, or places after hours jamming until 4am. Are there still those underground spots???

  10. Carlton blues have won the first 2games for the first time in at least 10 years. Anyway keep the videos coming,I look forward too them and what the pho or Van’s video’s

  13. Adam, anyway to contact you? Email? I’m at HCMC since 27th, been busy trying find a place to stay. Once settled down will contact you. Will catch up your videos once settled, cheers 😂

  14. and I bet the person who gave you a hard time about African street is a White Karen

  15. Keep the motorbike rides coming please. Other channels just make shows of food. (BORING)
One of my wild dreams is to ride in Sapa area

  16. I am loving your filming style Adam. You put the extra effort of adding small details, like screenshots of Google Maps showing your route, that really make it easy to follow and feel like we're there with ya. I also love your transparency. You don't hide anything and just talk about any and everything that's going on.
Sure, these motovlogs might seem "boring" but to those of us who can relate to what you're talking about, they are definitely anything but boring.

Keep up the good work. It is great seeing your content and your channel grow.

  17. Last time I visited VN was in 2010. So I vicariously enjoy your moto vlog to see the streets, neighborhoods and how much they've changed.

  18. Your pronunciation is pretty spot on. You’re also very real & humble. Your contents are way better than Fat N Broke.

  19. Really enjoyed your ramblings, Adam. I like the insights and transparency. Hope you get better equipment soon for your future trips. Just subscribed.

  20. That’s American when u reference to skin color like BLM or White Powers or red skin… r u American?
    How about cancel culture?
    Canceled!!! Hahaha.

  21. why don't you try to display the small map on the video?
I used gopro before, and it would be very nice if you put the small realtime map on the top corner.
Please take a look and do a demo,

  22. I will support your YouTube channel, do you ever think you will go back to America to visit.👍👍👍👌👌

  23. the question about whether VN has Harley is very ignorant. But I guess many pp are ignorant of VN because they never take the time. way back before 1975, our country was one of the most modernized in SE Asia surpassing Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Laos, South Korea, Singapore, etc. Since HCM (Hô` Chu*'a Mua = lake collecting rain water) came in our beloved republic has fallen way behind our neighboring countries because of communism and the ruling communist party kowtow to China, the rest is remained to be seen

  24. Hi Adam. There is also another part of Phu My Hung where they have the big park. They have so many new apartments built there. I used to live in an apartment called "Canh Vien 2".

The thin park that leads to Crescent Mall/Anh Sao Bridge is also very nice. Definitely a lot of young people from different districts come there every night to spend the evening.

Phu My Hung has many areas. I love how peaceful this place is. There is no traffic, no police officers, no beggers.

  25. Thanks for your videos. I hope you channel gets more views and generates more income for your life in VN.

  26. Let me say…, if you don’t to quit something, you won’t!!! If you could find a reason to quit smoking, it would be the best thing that you could do.

  27. Prep for classes. It’s happening here in the USA too.
    Try out tricycle.
In the USA if u using BLACK then ppl labeled u as racist. U do known that?
Business suggestion, buy Advil n similar products (over counters drugs) from the USA n sales it there (high demand).?
Secret, cannabis will protect u against the Covid. FYI.

  28. 7:18 Yes African Town is NOT racist! It’s facts! You stand up and tell em bud! Tell those woketards to go get a life! 😄

  29. I like your content and style. Keep up the good work, Gamer. I really wish I could be there myself but I have family obligations, so… Your channel gets me as close to there as I can be without actually being there. I appreciate your little rant by the way HAHA LOL!
