Every year I revisit Tokyo Roppongi district for Christmas lights.
I started from Roppongi Midtown park with its Netflix light and smoke show. Then I walked to Roppongi Hills with its pond illumination and street of light with Tokyo Tower view. Through backstreets I walked to Tokyo tower after that.

There was another cat at 23:55, in the construction site, a bit hidden, but you can see it.
At 26:50 the way the colors on that tower pop is just stellar. Even the grey pops out.
This is just the beginning of Christmas Lights there will be so many more awaiting us so late charge up with joy.
I have made this my favorite Christmas tradition for the last four years. Every year it's better than before. I do enjoy going back and seeing my favorites like the purple orbs. Japan is a fascinating place. I have enjoyed so many of the creators of videos there. It seems like there are very reasonable accommodations and travel options and food. I'm mobility impaired and would have trouble doing what I would like to do there. Don't be like me and miss the opportunity to see this fantastic place while you are able to.
