I might have missed the premiere last week due to business travels but I'm here now 😁 thank you Shinichi for finding these gems of small towns to share with us ❤️
Watching your videos helped me plan my upcoming trip to Japan. I can't wait to explore this same area. Thanks.
YAY!! Thank you!
Watching it now I love you guys
Will you guys take us thrifting some time in Japan? Like Charity shops or rummage sales? Not necessarily Hard Off type places, but more local neighborhood type places
I believe this was filmed some time in the past, perhaps in late summer
Very nice place, love the buildings and the river is my favorite. We call that kind of tree a willow tree
A town that survived the bombing in the 1940s
I wish you got the tacos, I wanna see tacos in Tottori
Aww it’s called a Willow tree in English
What a quaint and beautiful little town. The buildings are definitely a throwback in time. I always say, ‘can you imagine the stories these old buildings/landmarks/castles/shrines, and especially old roads, could tell, if only they could only speak?’ Amazing! Your somen and brother Satoshi’s soba looked so delicious and so refreshing. I loved that you were both so kind to that little ojichan. He was definitely a talker. Loved your rental car—as it’s just a shade lighter than my car. The official color of my car is ‘Nori Green.’ Thank you for sharing Kurayoshi and Tottori. I saw that it’s about an 8 hour trip from Tokyo by car. Definitely going onto my bucket list. ❤
If I'm identifying it correctly, that tree species is called Weeping Willow in English- very poetic lol
Hi guys how you doing thanks for sharing this venture with us beautiful town take care stay safe ❤️😘😘
🇹🇷 kebap 😃
We have a shopping center here in Columbus Ohio that has 6 or 7 Japanese stores (sushi restaurants, bakery, grocery, gifts, and others) and one storefront is a “cultural center” that hosts events. This past weekend they had a charity ceramics sale and I thought of Shinichi 😊 I also LOVE ceramics and wanted to buy all of it! I restrained myself and only bought two pieces ☺️
You find such interesting places during your travels! Love the old town atmosphere and lovely shops and restaurants.
What is Satoshi's vlogging channel? I'd love to follow!
Very *special town/village. Wonderful tour. Thank you, guys.
Some fruit trees have small branches of different varieties grafted to them so that they produce different fruits. Also with Willow trees sometimes you can take cuttings and put them in a glass of water and they will start making roots. Fun for kids!
Wow! Kurayoshi is such a beautiful and well preserved town. I think Sakura in the park would be well worth the trip. Thanks for taking us along.
25:27 willow tree ?
So true was so nice seeing u guys walk threw the street with the old style houses and buildings real old style Japanese charm!!!🙌🏻
The tree is a species of willow. It is generally called a "weeping willow"

Thank you for sharing these amazing small towns of Japan.
My wife and I are travelling from Australia in late April 2023 for a four week visit. We are travelling by train and want to spend the majority of our time visiting the small towns and cities.
Both of you have inspired us to visit the lesser known places that we can explore on foot, meet the locals and taste those amazing dishes we see on your videos.
😎🤓
Thank you for your videos. Very relaxing to watch them laying down on the sofa LOL. My dad's from Okinawa 😋
