Assalmu Alikom people! Greetings of peace,

Some of the top things to do in Mt Fuji is as follows:
Eat Hoto Noodles
Watch Sunrise over Mt Fuji
Try Mochi!
Visit the shrines like Asama Shrine
Eat Sushi!
Onsen Hot Spring

The next morning of our Japan trip, we decided to wake up early and watch the sunrise over Mt Fuji. We were staying on the north side of lake kawaguichiko where you have the best views of mt fuji.

The sunrise was breathtaking and you get an amazing reflection of the mountain on the lake. Great way to start our travel vlog by relaxing and looking at magnificent views.

Unfortunately, the weather was a little cold so the cherry blossoms did not bloom when we arrived.

The sunrise was really early and all the restaurants were closed so we decided to head over to our private onsen (hot spring) and take a nice relaxing bath. I also made some coffee for Sarah and I to enjoy while we look at the views of Mt Fuji.

We are huge coffee lovers and Japan is very sophisticated when they brew their coffee. If you like coffee and tea, Japan is a great place to experience new bold flavours of coffee and macha!

After we grabbed some lunch, we decided to visit a local shrine that has 1,200 year old trees. The shrine was walking distance from our Lake Villa Kawaguichiko hotel and was called Asama shrine. The trees were huge and unreal! Great place to visit, we had the whole place to our selves.

After our day in Mt Fuji, it was time for us to leave and head towards Osaka! We are super excited to visit Osaka because that will be the next city we stay for 5 days while we explore old Japan. In order to get to Osaka we took a bus from Kawaguichiko station to Mishima station.

Mishima station is a 45 minute bus ride and you can use your JR Pass to enter. The station also has the Shinkansen rail which is the bullet train in Japan.

We took the Shinkansen bullet train from Mishima station to Osaka station which took 2 hours! It was super fast and comfortable.

Sarah picked our hotel in Osaka, and she chose the Westin Osaka which is located right beside Osaka station. Very convenient area and hotel to stay at.
