There’s a nightlife for grownups near Dotonbori, Osaka’s most famous spot. On the street called Soemoncho (宗右衛門町), there are numerous bars and clubs with either male or female hostesses, and I could see a lot of touts. At first, I couldn’t understand what they were saying to me in Japanese, but I could guess from the pictures on the street and their outfits. Let’s take a look at the night streets of Soemoncho and Shinsaibashi, where you can get a glimpse of Japanese nightlife.
