The Fuente Osmeรฑa circle is filled with the festive spirit of the Christmas season as a 120-foot giant “ML Christmas Tree of Hope” is ceremonially lit.

The Christmas tree is adorned with a plethora of wintery ornaments. The base is made of gingerbread houses, and the embellishments include snowflakes, parol, a snowman, candy canes, and a depiction of the Santo Niรฑo de Cebu.

Over 700 colorful lights encircle the massive tree, with expenses totaling over a million pesos, the majority of which was donated by Cebuano businessman Michel Lhuillier.

Last year, the tree was knocked down by Typhoon Odette just days before Cebu City celebrated Christmas.
