    another Amazing video. I am over 65 years old and like Luke ,i believed point pedro is the northern most point of sri lanka. I was wrong . we were in Jaffna in 2019 and stumbled upon casuarina beach and that was the best beach i have ever seen. Kirimalai is an interesting place too as it is pool by the sea but i think it is fresh water!

    India cannot be seen from PointPedro. Sometimes Indian telecom tower can be seen from a place called Thalaimannar. Across the park strait, India is just 54.8 Km from Thalaimannar

    I think point pedro is little bit far from india than thalai mannar. In thalai mannar you can see india. Because of the triangle shape of india. You can see the broken bridge to india in mannar.

    Jaffna is a city that has more casts which so prominent. Highest cast families you can spot with land wall or gate mounted with cow. another level cast level of family they decorate their walls or gate decorate with peacock or lamp and so on.

    Every member cannot put land walls by cement. some walls are made from palmyra leaves. some cast has half walls from palmyra and come wall has 4-5 tall with palmyra leaves.

    This is the only region in Sri Lanka which highlight casts display on gates or walls.

    Hi again. Thank you so so much for your great videos of Jaffna. I have never seen or visited any place further than Anuradhapura & not even Wilpaththu National Park. A shame being a Sri Lankan immigrant.
