A mini Seoul, Korea tour with the Sony FX30 and Sony 14mm GM!

I had time to spare while waiting for my friend to get off work, so I decided to walk around Seoul, Korea, and show you some of the city with my new cinema camera and one of my portrait lenses. I had reservations about the Sony FX30, a crop-sensor camera, but once I started using it, the user experience was delightful! To get a wide angle for vlogging the busy streets of Seoul, Korea, I paired the camera body with one of my favorite lenses I use only for special occasions, the full frame lens Sony 14mm GM. Come join the little tour of my city!

  1. Just wanted to show off this FX30 and 14mm GM with a little walk around some areas of Seoul, Korea. Let me know what you think about the camera/lens combo and the city!

  2. I love considering what living in that mindset must be like, where you can leave your stuff out in public and no one would think to take it… Or especially, no one would think to generally harm one another.
Living in LA feels like the opposite of that. I probably wouldn't leave Korea either!

  3. Oooh I’ve been to that temple… man it looks so different tho… I hate that all those walls are up..

Dude it was the same in Paris… walls are now surrounding the Eiffel Tower and it no longer feels like an open park. I think it was because of Covid

  4. Honestly a photographers/videographers saving grace, not having to worry about our equipment while we go out and capture shots! Great vid

  5. I totally agree with you. I feel 100% safe in Korea. I literally can walk around even it's super late without worrying compare to other countries(I never thought I would love late night walks until Korea). I wasn't able to explore Seoul last time I visited but I will definitely do that when I get back. Cafes are superb in Seoul but trashcan is hard to find, WHY??! I remember I purchased a cup of coffee around 10am and I cannot find any trashcan so I was holding an empty cup for like 6 hours LOL. 🤣

  6. was that a Tibetan restaurant near Sinseol-dong at the end? It looks familiar!

  7. 😢서울은 진짜 매력적인 도시임이 확실하죠.
조계사의 탱화도 멋지네요. 좋은 영상 감사해요~
