WOW! We had seen pictures of El Nido and the islands but nothing could have prepared us for the real thing! It is definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. We did Tour C and spent the day hopping between four islands with unreal beaches and crystal clear waters. If you are going to Philippines, this is a must!

We booked our tour with Go Paradise Travel & Tours and we highly recommend them. Jeremiah and the crew were amazing! This was not sponsored or gifted: https://goparadise.org

Who are we?
Hi! We’re Aoife and Meadhbh, and we’re sisters from Ireland. We quit our jobs, in our thirties, to travel. Sometimes it'[s great. Sometimes we wonder what we’re doing!

  1. A must have when exploring Philippines. 1) Booties ( beach shoes ); 2) snorkel set, saves you a lot of money; 3) sandals with strap not flip flops ( or thong sandals, whatever you called it in your region); 4) go pro or equivalent with magenta lens filter to take pictures underwater with 80% right color viewing; 5) Cortisone ointment. The rest, refer to girls/boys scout preparedness and readiness πŸ˜ƒ 😊

  2. i know that tourism is good for the locals but…. too many yellow jackets πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. The Philippines has a lot more to offer. While you visit the more touristy areas( which are so much more expensive and about every step cost most), there are a ton more beautiful and spectacular places to see which do not cost anything at all except perhaps getting there. The food will be less expensive, the accommodations will be modest but acceptable, the people are genuinely warmer and friendlier and more importantly, nature is free for all.
Enjoy your stay in the Philippines and thank you for visiting our humble country!!!

  10. Hello ladies, you don't have that gaelic accent at all nor the pommie sound of speech but I agree that you are both where rainbows go. You are now in paradise with so many more to explore. Enjoy your stay!

  11. Hope you got to do Tour A also because that has the big and small lagoon stops. Also visit Coron for more island hopping, Cebu for Kawasan Falls Canyoneering and swimming with whale sharks in Moal Boal, Siargao for some water surfing, Bohol to visit Chocolate Hills and the Tarsiers. Also go north to Baguio, Sagada, Banaue Rice Terraces, Vigan. These are the most common places tourists visit. We have soooooo many places to visit in the Philippines that you'll most definitely need to extend your stay. Also try local foods and do not ever leave the Philippines without trying our famous Lechon. But most of all, enjoy the hospitality and warmth of the Filipino people. Mabuhay!!!

  12. I am originally from Manila and have been living in the US for the last 35 years. I appreciate your views of my homeland and I envy that you guys have been to Palawan and I have not. However, I visited my daughter a week ago in Belfast and we spent a few days in Dublin. It is true from my personal experience that Irish people are very nice and accommodating. I love your country and culture and no wonder my daughter intends to settle there as well.

  13. its a pity you didn't show your lunch, how was it? you like Filipino food?.. Mave isn't a good swimmer coz she wears the vest? ☺️ Irish girls are pretty ❀️

  14. The Hidden Beach is so freakin amazing! Been 6 years since I was last there and it still recurs in my dreams from time to time. I know I had to go back. Such a fun episode as usual, ladies. 🌺🌺
