Beijing Sanlitun embassy area
The second embassy district began to be developed in the 1960s and completed in the 1980s. It extends to Dongzhimenwai Street in the west, Dongsanhuan North Road in the east, Workers Stadium North Road in the south, and Liangmahe South Road in the north.
Sanlitun is named because it is three miles away from the inner city of Beijing. As the originator of the bar culture in Beijing, there have been more than 80 bars in Bar Street since 1998. It used to be the symbol of Beijing’s “night economy”. An important birthplace and birthplace of the fashion culture industry, highly respected and imitated by urban white-collar workers and new people who pursue non-mainstream, it has been one of the important places for fashion-seeking foreign tourists to visit after coming to Beijing for many years.

北京三裏屯使館區
第二使館區於上世紀60年代開始進行開發，80年代建設完成，西至東直門外大街，東至東三環北路，南至工人體育場北路，北至亮馬河南路。
三裏屯因距離北京內城三裏而得名，作為京城酒吧文化的開山鼻祖，酒吧街內從1998年至今，共分布有80多家酒吧，曾經是北京「夜晚經濟」的符號，是北京時尚文化產業重要的孕育地和催生地，備受追逐非主流的都市白領和新新人類的推崇效仿，多年以來一直是追求時尚的外來遊客來京後的重要遊玩地點之一。
