Restaurant I visited:
Fuji Bakery – Tramore House, 5 Tramore Pl, Killarney Heights NSW 2087
Curry pan
Pork bun
Yaki Soba bun
Custard

In this video, we’re going to be heading to Killarney Heights to find a really unassuming Japanese Bakery that’s been serving the local community for almost 40 years. I got a few things to try after speaking with the owners and my favourite was definitely the curry pan, but I was told their cream filled doughnuts are also really good.

I also FINALLY, kinda cleaned my kitchen cabinet with new organisers. I’m hoping it’ll stay organised for at least a month before I need to do kitchen reset again.

  1. welcome to day 3! I know you guys gave me some suggestions on how to organise my pantry before – like using trays etc. but if you have any other thoughts on how to utilise all the space, let me know! oh and as always, any location recs, just drop them below!

  2. The 'Chicken Nugget Roll' made me giggle, I was expecting a katsu. Frankfurter bun wouldn't be bad, I randomly crave hotdogs. The lookout was a nice spot for lunch.

  3. Yes, the only place you can get fresh mochi. You have order in advance sometimes. Since you’re in that part of the city. Try Goodfields Cafe in Lindfield. Pretty good for a non Asian place.

  4. Finalllyyyyyy.. I've been waiting for this one. And a what's in my fridge would be good and apartment tour 😃 thanks Janice ☺️

  5. When I found your channel you were doing videos in H.K. so I often think you are still there. When I saw the bright sunny sky I realized you are in Sydney. Bakery looked good and the curry bun the best. How does it compare to H.K. curry buns? Good vlog enjoyed it. Thanks. Can you show us more of an Australian Christmas? Vegemite?

  6. Love ur organizational skills. love ur content , as always! Thanks Janice, have a wonderful holiday period

  7. Have you ever asked hospitality staff at these venues visited where they got their training from? Is it learning through reinforcement? It is the world of the alternative universe.

  8. Janice i thought of another good place on the lower north shore, its called Piato and their saganaki cheese with honey warms my soul! Its in milsons point i believe!

  9. Check out Kmart for great kitchen organisation products. Simple shelf risers would enable you to see your stuff at the back of your shelves

  10. Really loving see your content more frequently. Hopefully I won’t have withdrawals once this project is over! 😅

  11. Wow, that's a simple dinner? For me simple is either something frozen whacked in the oven or a packet of mi goreng 🤣 Great video! If you are still after ideas of things to, there is Lewers Cafe and Regional Gallery in Emu Plains next to the Nepean River. Lovely food and then you can check out the current exhibitions 🙂

  12. organise large things at the rear with smaller things to the front, instantly eyeball your stock. Catergorise sauces, baking etc.

  13. Hey Janice that little bakery looked good and that curry bun looked so yum ..For your pantry you could put a 2 or 3 tier type rack in your pantry to create levels If that makes sense & I love when you cook ..Great vlog ..x💕🥰❤️

  14. Hi 👋 Janice: I love the curry bun…. looks like a very authentic and traditional Japanese bun…. looks sooo yummy….thank you for sharing your organizational and decluttering techniques… I always love to watch your videos. Please keep posting !

  15. I am the same way. My eyes are definitely bigger then my stomach. I want to get everything. 😂

  16. The bakery look amazing, organising the pantry is always difficult and finding the time or not finding the time looks like you've done a great job. Always interesting and entertaining

  17. I always find those organisation videos so satisfying, I like lazy susans to help prevent kitchen items from getting lost in the back. And your cabinet looks so nice tho!

  18. I really like the melon bread and twist donuts are delicious too. But my favorite was the matcha scroll cake & strawberry cream cake 😁🤭

The yakisoba-pan tastes good, maybe a little sweeter but not to bad. I recommend to try the morning fresh cheese roll.

  19. Been wanting to try Fuji for so long! Tried to go 2 months ago on a Sunday but they are apparently closed on Sundays:(

  20. you should check out Tuga Pastries in one of your next videos. Theres a place in Clovelly and Alexandria. Could not recommend more!!!

  21. The main highlight item in the bakery is actually the strawberry short cake and matcha roll, and I love the egg and mayo roll.
    It's very Japanese authentic.
If you have time to go back there definitely go early and grab the strawberry short cake.

  22. Fuji Japanese bakery reminds me of the once in a while treats i got as a young child in the 90's. If it weren't for the for the poor accessibility via public transport, i would have been visiting quite often as an adult… 🤤😩😣😓

  23. IKEA – VARIERA Shelf insert. Really opens up the cupboard especially in your kind of configuration

  24. About your pantry, one idea is to put a piece of paper or post-it note on the inside panel of your cupboard door with the corresponding height of each shelf, then write on it what you have in that shelf of the cupboard. E.g. at your tea shelf, stick a post-it note saying 2xT2 tea bags, 1 can Japanese tea… and you either cross out or replace the post-it as you use or replenish ur cupboard.

  25. Janice, your pantry need a few lazy Susan. I think they would help alot, kmart I pretty afford for them.

  26. You can get some shelves from ikea (white ones and different sizes) so you can layer it and see what it’s at the back of the cupboard since it’s deep
