Watching this guy use some of the cooking tools that are that unwieldy to so finely arrange things is like watching a painter use a two inch brush to do very detailed canvas work.
I think ppl are just praising this chef BC it's Japanese If he were an American and you were in a USA restaurant, I think everyone would just agree that it's overpriced and grilled good is grilled good.
The food looks interesting but the preparation was awesome. The chef turned cooking into more than just food it was also the presentation. Very impressive work and yes, it's real pricy but it comes down to the food and the experience.
"hardly any food!" that's the thing about the US, no concept of portion control. Breakfast is supposed to be the heaviest in calories, dinner the lightest, with lunch in between. Americans have it backwards or keep it the same for all 3 meals. That lunch looked like plenty of food to me. 4 courses? I'd pay for it.

@280 and the steak is blemished / brown on one side before cooking. Ew… I would ask for a replacement.

Just came back from facebook because this video was also there and the amount of hateful comments I see there was just… it was really bothering
Cutting another man's steak I can forgive …. but sauce on any steak, especially these cuts, is sacrilige. Damn.

баба забавная))) мне кажется ей что не дай, она будет довольная кивать и радоваться) хотя радуется искренне )это видно
"sauce made of prawn head organs" is a funny way of saying "scrambled brain".

Watching the chef cook those prawns is like watching a master at work
The prawns: 👀

not really a fan of teppanyaki. it's nice but, I would prefer other japanese food over this. no offense.
Ive never been angrier watching a video about food. Put yourselves and this oily peppery meal in the bin.
The prawn heads should be discarded
Four prawns and two large scallops worth round $50 chief’s act worth $230 no thank you $280 can buy a lot of food
That table is for rich people so stupid spent so much $$$ just tiny food
Its funny that drinks arent that expensive considering the overall price of the dishes.
$280 for that? Y'all trippin'.
