In this video, I’ll be showing you what the Japanese sleeper train looks like.
It’s called Sunrise Seto.
The train is very popular and depending on the room type, you may have to buy the tickets as soon as they go on sale to get a reservation!
Tickets go on sale one month before the boarding date.
I suggest checking the website around 10 a.m. 🕒
You can make reservations online via JR West’s website, but if possible, I recommend going to Midori-no-Madoguchi (ticket office).
Also, JR limited express tickets are subject to a cancellation fee (30% if you cancel the day before departure), so if you check the website around 3 days before departure, you may get tickets more easily (because someone might’ve canceled in the meantime).
