My first time travelling in Türkiye, and my two weeks was built around a 7 day bespoke group tour I hosted with Intrepid Travel.

In this episode we travel to Göreme in Cappadocia, doing the famous hot air balloon ride at sunrise.

We also visit the Zelve Open Air Museum and underground city.

Finishing up the trip we travel down to the south coast to the towns of Antalya and Kaş, including a boat tour to the sunken city of Kekova.

    Cappadocia is amazing, I'm so glad I got to visit the area back in 2019. But I'm kicking myself for not visiting Zelve Open Air Museum. At least I got to go up in a hot air balloon, which is a bucket list item I never knew I wanted.

    Hi Karl. It seems I was in Cappadocia and Antalya at exactly the same time as you, (10th June to .24th June). But I went independent from Istanbul, getting public trains and buses everywhere. Then all day walks all around the different Cappadocia valleys. Fantastic country and I plan to go back again this summer to carry on filming for my new YouTube channel.
