My first time travelling in Türkiye, and my two weeks was built around a 7 day bespoke group tour I hosted with Intrepid Travel.

In this episode we travel to Göreme in Cappadocia, doing the famous hot air balloon ride at sunrise.

We also visit the Zelve Open Air Museum and underground city.

Finishing up the trip we travel down to the south coast to the towns of Antalya and Kaş, including a boat tour to the sunken city of Kekova.

  1. “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present. “ thanks Karl it was awesome episode 🇹🇷👋

  2. What a fantastic couple of episodes that was, not sure how you do it but these videos are getting better and better, great bunch of people on the trip, also great choice of music once again and I liked the way you have included other peoples footage too, brilliant…! G

  3. That was an amazing series, the Hot Air Balloon Ride looked incredible!

  4. Cappadocia is amazing, I'm so glad I got to visit the area back in 2019. But I'm kicking myself for not visiting Zelve Open Air Museum. At least I got to go up in a hot air balloon, which is a bucket list item I never knew I wanted.

  5. Always looking forward for your videos. hoping i can join your tours next time.
    Great job karl and Godbless.

  7. raki actually very common in Balkans not only Turkey ahahah we have really different mouth taste in balkans.

  8. Awesome episodes… You really captured the camaraderie of the group which was really cool to see – and the shots from Cappadocia and Antalya were just amazing. Great stuff!

  9. Humans are really interesting..hammering away at a clay pot, people clapping and cheering like they did something.

  10. Hi Karl. It seems I was in Cappadocia and Antalya at exactly the same time as you, (10th June to .24th June). But I went independent from Istanbul, getting public trains and buses everywhere. Then all day walks all around the different Cappadocia valleys. Fantastic country and I plan to go back again this summer to carry on filming for my new YouTube channel.

  11. Amazing trip however even more interesting is ‘review’ of the trip and side commentary, can’t wait for Pakistan trip 🎉 by the way, I have 700+ YouTube vlogs saved up to watch later, this one gets priority viewing, if this tells you anything 😊

  12. I have been to turkey thrice
They say once you go to Istanbul your heart will never be at peace away from it
You summarized turkey very well and you had a really awesome group

Really looking forward to you exploring my home country in the next series
