► I still haven’t met or heard of anyone who has been to Japan, who did NOT like to wander around these “shotengai” alleys, peeping into all the little eateries, trying to figure out if they serve yakitori, ramen, tempura or something entirely different.
And if the smell walking those areas doesn’t sharpen your appetite – nothing will. This nice little shotengai, I found in the west side of Funabashi Station in Chiba prefecture. – Enjoy.
