Today, we get up really early to beat the crowds to Fushimi Inari, Kyoto’s beautiful gated mountain. But that’s not the only thing we’re doing today! There’s a secret that is right next to this mountain, hidden beyond a bathroom…
Thousands of beautiful red tori gates line this mountain. You can donate money to have a tori gate placed on the mountain, as has been the tradition for hundreds of years. The main path has around 1,000 gates placed on it of various sizes. It takes a few hours to hike up and down the mountain, and there are numerous rest stops along the way – including the mountain’s best viewpoint over Kyoto! Be prepared for a LOT of stairs if you do the full route.
Afterwards, you may wish to visit Fushimi Inari’s hidden bamboo grove! We were thrilled to have the bamboo forest completely to ourselves (well, we shared it with a million mosquitoes). Since it was a breezy day, we were able to hear the sound of the bamboo trunks clicking against one another. The sound was truly glorious! We share exactly what path to follow to get to the secret bamboo grove (but shh, let’s keep it our secret!).

The impersonation of the people that live at the top 😂🤣 Those people must be so fit!
This field trip is called " Shugaku Ryoko ( 修学旅行)" in Japanese, which is part of history education program for mostly Junior school students from outside of Kyoto prefectures.
Depends on the school's location, not every school chooses Kyoto,
but this histric city is the most popular destination.
Usually three nights trip in Kyoto and Nara.
You two are covering alot of ground. Love your videos. 👊😎
👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome to Japan😊 I haven't been to Fushimi-inari yet . Thank you so much for your nice guide👍👍🙏🙏💗💖💞
I've only ever been here in the evening when it was all dark with no one there. It was magical and kind of scary haha. Idk if you got to see one, but there's cats all over the place and they're super friendly. One even jumped on my lap
Its super common for Japanese kids to go to Kyoto as a school trip destination (because of the rich history to learn) I myself went there when I was an elementary student 😊

Thank you for giving us little hints to navigate the Fushimi Inari and the secret bamboo grove. I wished more vloggers include those pointers so that I won't get lost when I go visit.
Where we go depends on where we live😊
When I was 14 years old, Tokyo was my travel destination.
I mainly went to Tokyo Disneyland, Kokugikan (watching sumo), and during my free time, I went to Shibuya and Ikebukuro with a friend.
Kabukicho was a place we shouldn't have gone😅
Private high school students went to America and South Korea. I'm in my 30s now, so I think things have changed.
The students of the corona misfortune had to cancel the school trip.
I feel sorry for them who can't make memories😢
if you guys want your subscriber skyrocket go to Malaysia i bet the life of my cat on that you will not be disappointed
