Tokyo is one of the most amazing cities on the planet. Some of my favorite neighborhoods are Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Asakusa. The Tokyo Tower and Meguro River are some great spots as well and I recommend eating the sushi while you’re there. If your a bit more adventurous try the raw beef with raw egg on top. It’s really tasty.

My story so far……..
I was raised in the West and became an adult in the East.
I set out on my own at 18 to see the world, bouncing around Asia and North America. Working my way through school, I never lived anywhere too long. I found my calling as a teacher and ended up staying abroad for many years. While I’ve had a chance to explore Europe, places I consider home are Washington DC, Seoul, Beijing, Memphis, and Columbus. After 20 years of exploring, I’m ready to share my adventures and wanderlust. The road ahead is never a straight line, but a path that zigs and zags, leading you to amazing places, people, and experiences you could never imagine. Be flexible and open minded, embracing the uncertainty of life and letting the current wisk you away……..

  1. I was in Tokyo a few years back and your video perfectly captures the mood of the city from a tourist perspective. Great memories!
