After visiting 43 out of the 47 prefectures in Japan, I realised it was really the people that made the places special for me.

2 years ago, I did my first ever homestay in Akita and met the most loveliest and hardworking woman,
(
and now 2 years later I have come back to do a homestay again… expect this time I’ve shared this experience with some of my viewers 🙂

For me to truly see and learn about an area, isn’t about seeing all the main attractions the city has to offer, but to meet the locals and hear about the city/culture through their experiences.

Hope you guys also enjoy your sneak peak into the daily lives of some locals in Akita Prefecture 🙂
