  1. My suggestion regarding "Hey, Disney" is to unplug it. It's watching and listening. You might have raised that concern in your story.

  2. If you travel extensively like my wife and I do, you really realize how heavy Americans have gotten in comparison, especially after COVID and the whole body positivity movement. This is seriously affecting our longevity and quality of life here

  3. Semi-dwarf wheat, which causes an insulin spike, is the reason for the weight gain in people around the world but most especially in our country where wheat products are so prevalent in the diet. Just thought I'd mention that because people are confused as to why everyone is getting so heavy and they're eating the same way their parents and grandparents did. You can research the studies done on the semi-dwarf wheat which has been available since the '70s but most prevalent from the '80s forward compared to the old strains of wheat.

  4. Tom u are just adorable!
Thank you for your comments 🙂 all the adorable chuckling ones especially! 🙂

  5. They had the "partitions" because they want to be able to squeeze as many people as possible into the ride. So they think that those tiny partitions is separation enough to be sitting should to shoulder with a stranger. I wish that we would get away from cramming as many people as possible in a ride. It should be one "party", regardless of it is one, two, or three people, per row.

  6. WOW that shirt went fast. Just tried to pick it up and sold out. BTW I started watched in 2020 so I've never seen "happy Tom" and I'm excited to see it🙂

  7. I often think Universal could take a cue from this and make some of their seats a few inches bigger too!

  8. I think that it’s time to put our really “fatty fat fat fat” people on real diets, so they can stop breaking the Disney rides

  9. Careful, could see this happening on airlines. Instead of paying per seat, pay determined by butt size. That could be a good thing for those traveling with kids though.

  10. I'm a new viewer, and I love this show. The host just has a fun demeanor, is clearly a fan, but delivers the news in a professional (but no overly tight) way. It's lovely! Thank you so much for your hard work

  11. You mean 'fatter'? In Japan there were few tourists from europeen decent. The ones from the usa were easy recognisable: fat. And one female was clothed bad and indecent. Possible in Walmart, but not in Japan, where the females wear decent, expensive-looking, not even 'a la mode' as far as I know (dutch so not best clothed), but very sophisticated sweaters and coats (because it was a bit cold). I even have the faint idea they do specifically wear these great clothes to show their good taste.

  12. In my opinion, Tokyo-Disney will survive while the other parcs might collapse due to mismanagement and stupid zero-covid rules. The japanese people are the most pleasant guests, eager to buy, eager to have a pleasant day, eager to please others.

  13. It's a little concerning with Amazon's history of listening in on ppl without permission, that Disney is placing echo dots in rooms. Will ppl have the option to remove these for privacy if they fear Disney will listen in on conversations without approval?

  14. For whatever reason this video never came up for me until today (thanks YouTube 🙄) and what a time for things to break…worst timing EVER. You’re killing me Tom. You really are. I wanted that shirt SO bad last year only for it to be sold out. And now it’s happened again this year. Agh. The most frustrating thing EVER.

I truly don’t understand why someone would not want to maximize sales and income by making more of an item known to be popular and actually seemingly WANT to disappoint people, but then that’s a question I ask of Disney too all of the time. I really don’t get how other people and companies think, leaving money on the table like that and short changing themselves out of income. I really don’t. I would have made pre-orders, took deposits and make enough for everyone and do my darnedest to make everyone happy, but hey, that’s just me. I just roll differently I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  15. I deny that this is the reason. It’s more of a convince thing as well as a loading issue. What is the reason they are even needed. There is no need to be prevented from sliding in that ride. To be honest it would be easier to step in and slide over like you do in figment, space ship earth. It should have never been there it goes against everything they already have. This is more on brand for all the other rides.

  16. Come in Tom, I know we love to bash Disney for raising price but it’s not because they are loved or desired, it’s inflation there has a 10% inflation rate right now. What cost 1 euro last year now cost 1.10 euro. The only one that was outrageous was the 18% hick.

For a little education this is what happens when you make minimum wage to high price of goods go up. You may have made 7.50 an hour before and make 15 per hour now but you will not have anymore money because price of goods will go up and probably higher than you increase. There has and always will be a bottom 10% basic economics

  17. Ironic given the subject matter of the news but I can't fit your t-shirt sizes on Carousel of products! I want that sonny eclipse t-shirt but it's not available in my size (4-5xl). I hope you can offer a wider range of sizes in the new year! I'd buy everything in the store! Please consider it.
