On this stormy day in Japan some might say that the conditions were not the best for taking a relaxing walk around one of Japan’s trendiest towns Jiyugaoka 自由が丘. It wasn’t dry, that’s for sure! A rainy walk in a town I love very much. I have lived in 3 different houses on the perimeter of Jiyugaoka and went there nearly every weekend for shopping and eating out over the 10 year period that I lived there. It really is one of Japan’s hippest old towns. Recently I visited Tokyo for a week to meet up with friends and do a bit of shopping, so took the opportunity to shoot this video to give you a virtual tour of a Japanese town I love.
