In this weeks video we share some very exciting news about what is coming ahead. We have left Tokyo and made our way to the beautiful city of Osaka. We spend some time in Osaka absorbing all the autumn vibes. We eat some incredible vegan food at Sababa, we also visit a cat sanctuary for lots of cat cuddles. We take in the history of Osaka castle and admire the street art in Dotonbori. Beyond our time in Osaka we head to Nara Park. In the Nara region there are over 1000 wild deers, who are thought to be the messengers of the Gods. We get up close and personal with these beautiful deer. Absorb the beauty of nature in Nara Park. Then we share with you guys what we have coming up soon, we talk of our dreams of getting into the wild rugged wilderness of Japan and how we are going to be taking back on vanlife in Japan.

We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. Then on our journey through Romania we experienced two break downs and then another nightmare when our van caught fire. The trauma of all of this had piled up too much and we decided to take a break from vanlife and flew to Japan for some adventures!

What a fun video!! Watching the two of you enjoy interacting with all those cats was so sweet and so satisfying!! What were you feeding them? That looked like fun to have them all clamoring for a treat. I love cats but I don’t have any right now. One of my dogs has a strong hunting instinct and he thinks they are vermin although he did used to live with a kitty and left it alone so I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️. The deer were amazing! I loved that you got to feed them. Japan is wonderful! I really enjoy your view of it. You take us places that a lot of people wouldn’t. All of that vegan food looks delicious! Cats! 😻The deer around us in NY make a sheep/goat type sound when they are in distress and make a loud snorting sound sometimes I think is a warning sound. I haven’t heard them make that chirping noise but they may, they keep to themselves mostly:)

I’ve had cats 🐈 and dogs 🐕 . I think I’m a little more of a dog person, but I love them both equally. The connection you get with each one is so different.
On a side note: I heard watching the adds through the videos help support your channel. I’m all for watching a few 15-30 seconds ones, but 2-3 minutes ones are a little too much for me. I don’t know how much control you have over this but I’d rather watch 4-5 short adds than 1-2 long ones. Not a criticism, just sharing my opinion as a viewer 😉

Great video again. Looks like a really nice part of Japan. You must put so much work into the production and editing, it's really professional and polished with the music and b-roll etc. You guys are just such good to watch, so much feel good factor. Will be great to get out of the road again, cities are ok, but I like to keep on moving too. Oh and sorry, I'm a dog person, but those cats were very beautiful animals.

My son Jamie reckons he'll start up a business over there after graduating (he's already got it planned). It's a foody thing and he sees Osaka as the perfect place to start because of the way food is a big part of the culture there. Did you guys find vegan places relatively easily? Are they front and centre on the streets, or did you have to have to pass many takoyaki stalls to spot them?? 🇯🇵 😎👍

Ah Doctor Do Little I'm not quite going for that yet . Super Cat Lady I'll see that one . Such beautiful colors in nature . The restaurant / cat heaven place would never fly in the USA 🇺🇸. The place would be shut down and require a week of deep cleaning . The ride was great especially since you had it all to yourself . Keely here's what I learned this week . Wait a minimum of 90 minutes before eating or drinking any caffeine . It will help with not feeling run down in the afternoon . Vegans eat sugar ? I think that's cheating on the vegan diet . Man made . I think the brides dress got in the fountain a little . I'm sure glad you two are loving life .
