very large amusement park where your CATS and DOGS pets are OK to bring with! Situated in Izu area that has stunning views of Mount Fuji and is also close by the ocean. the park encompasses an English village a Canadian village Rose Garden American Indian village Japanese traditional Garden there is even a part of a lodging where famous Japanese writer Natsume Soseki stayed for a while writing his books so they brought this building in here and you can get inside. the seasonal flowers are featured everywhere like hydrangea wisteria irises tsubaki and of course they have red Autumn leaves of the season and after that towards winter they add light installations everywhere to give you a reason to come even if there are no flowers. the ticket is not cheap and you have to get out and re-enter if you want to see the illumination and they charge quite a lot for this so we did not do it. there are a couple of restaurants on site in the English village and Canadian village however you can bring your own and you can picnic and there is so much to see that you can spend an entire day without getting bored. usually it’s a place to see Mount Fuji but it is in the clouds most of the times especially on this side due to the ocean evaporation there are many more clouds than on the Kawaguchi Lake area. if Mount Fuji is important for you, you need to check online in advance there are live cameras and information website about the visibility from every area to the specific time.
