Hitachinaka has a lot to show!
best known for the hitachinaka seaside park.
Located in the area facing the Pacific Ocean in the city of Hitachinaka, Hitachi Seaside Park offers beautiful flowers in its well-kept, large gardens throughout the year. In spring, narcissuses, tulips and nemophila (baby blue eyes) attract lots of visitors. In early summer, poppies and roses, and in summer, zinnias and sunflowers, bloom. In autumn, you can enjoy kochia (summer cypress) and cosmos flowers. In winter, ice tulips can be seen, making for a rich complement of flora throughout the year. The Pleasure Garden, which features over 25 rides and attractions, includes a Ferris Wheel sitting 100m above sea level and offering outstanding views. Other destinations that allow you to enjoy nature include the Rinkan Athletic Grounds, Barbecue Zone, and Cycling Course.
But also the Hitachinaka Rail
A 15 km railway line in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, operated by the third-sector railway operator Hitachinaka Seaside Railway.
The connects Katsuta station with the coastal town of Ajigaura. The railway line is served by KiHa diesel rail cars and is a wonderful experience and sight for any railway lover and rail fain.

Nakaminato Fish Market
Fresh seafood market with variety . Famous among tourist but still good to visit. Open since early morning . They offer dry japanese seafood ingredient to bring back home too . Price is reasonable. If you like oyster, they offer fresh oyster and you can eat it onsite. Few stall for grill seafood which is fresh and juicy. Also have many sushi place and good for lunch . Worth to visit if you like local market life. However, be aware of the wet floor , like other local fresh market .
