  1. Thanks for talking about the real realities around the iger comeback. Chapek was ousted cuz they missed EPS horribly. Their parks margins are bad, iger was not brought back and given only 2 years to spend a lot of money on parks. He was brought back to fix disney+. I dont know what he could do. Adding ads onto the platform is not gonna do much (all the streaming platforms are doing this plus ad spend is down.. see googl and meta revenue as of late). This feels like the worst spot disney has ever been before a recession. I dunno if disney can weather this storm, corporate stock takeover feels at a higher risk than ever before.

  2. The genie plus idea is great but problem is ride count, they just don't have enough rides to justify it outside of MK. If Hollywood studios has the usual rides go down ppl will be furious if they spent 100 bones for 3ish rides. They should get rid of genie plus and quadruple the price of MK and double the other 3 parks. Go back to old fastpass system, remove reservations except holiday week, and all ticketed events are included. Simplifies everything and you can cut staff that manages genie plus / reservations and should reduce calls to customer service.

  3. Iger could have Disney+ managers put out another 2 or 3 year deal to those of us that had it previously. I canceled Disney+ after the 3 year deal was up. Or to ween us off of the deal, this time around they could offer a smaller discount for maybe a year and then say, if the current subscribers want to renew again then offer a small $5-$10 off per year. Really we just want to feel appreciated by the company. If they offered me a small discount like that, then I would sign back up, but not for paying full price.
