If you are into art then a trip to Aomori should be on your list to visit! The Aomori Museum of Art is famous in Japan, especially for Yoshitomo Nara’s “Aomori-ken” statue also known as the “Aomori Dog” 🐶
If the weather permits visitors can even walk into the small courtyard, but during winter it is often only allowed to look at it through the gallery window. Either way, it is absolutely stunning!
