If you are into art then a trip to Aomori should be on your list to visit! The Aomori Art Museum features 4 of Marc Chagall’s (one of the 20th century’s most well-known painters, 1887-1985) backdrops for the ballet “Aleko”.
Each of these large paintings are approximately 9m x15m and they look amazing in daylight, but the museum also has a projection mapping show, which creates a magical story (in Japanese and with one show at 1pm in english) which you really don’t want to miss!
