Watching but so far I agree with you. Tokyo gets the budget
It took some warming up to me when I saw the previews a few months ago, but I love it now. Could've added more fountains either on the moving barges or around the whole lagoon. The theme is definitely one of the best that Disney put out for a Disney night time show.
Also this show is the most "localized" since it's almost all Japanese songs compared to other Asian Disney Parks where Hong Kong is mostly in English with almost no localization and Shanghai having more dominant localized songs with some English sprinkled out. Also some shells at the end would've been a nice finishinh touch.
At 27:12 I noticed that this showing had Peter and Wendy not flying to the lookout post on the mast of the ship and there are other recordings I've seen where this has happened. Hard to see from this vantage point what is happening on the barges. I've also viewed recordings of the show where the pyro from the center barge is not working. The tech in these barges is just incredible and is still being broken in.
The best vantage point is in your second video of this show, where Peter and Wendy are in full view, and you can see all the characters on the barges. This show has convinced me that I need to travel to Tokyo to see this in person!

WDW News. Tom, There is a rumour that Disneyland Paris are looking at this show very closely as they press for their own night time show on the new lagoon being constructed in Hollywood Studio's. When our family watched it at home, we were not impressed. I think with at least Fantasmic, there was a semi-story and theme, where this show feels just like an expensive (lucky if you get seats) disjointed medley of stuff. For now, we are going to use the time to go explore the rest of the park, while everyone else is crowded up against the railinings around the lagoon hoping to see a glimpse of a barge.

Do you like Momentous from Hong Kong Disneyland?
Frozen was and still is loved by Japanese. However, Moana is not so popular. I can't understand why Tokyo Disney Sea adds Moana in this show.
Still hoping for an honest review of Jaws in USJ 😉
