  1. Hello WW. How are you? And yes, this is yet another one of your videos I have to catch up on. And my goodness, the Burlington Arcade! Mum and I were just there the other day! One of these days our paths will very likely cross! We had a great time at the Ideal Home Show Christmas at London Olympia and then caught the No 9 bus to Trafalgar Square. Had a walk around the Canadian Embassy as well as the German Christmas market there and on to the classic London bus Christmas lights tour. A funny thing happened at the start of the tour: The lady tour guide came to each passenger asking where they are from. At the time I was dressed wearing my Canadian scarf, hat and messenger bag. So when she got to me, just as she was about to ask where I'm from she stopped in her tracks with a surprised look. At which point I said "Have a guess. I think you'll get this one". To which the whole upper deck of the bus laughed. She then went on to say that we will soon be passing the Canadian Embassy (which I knew would happen) at which point she had a special mention. As we passed the embassy, she thanked me personally for the part the Royal Canadian Mounted Police played in the Queen's funeral! Anyhow, it was after the 75 min Christmas lights tour that mum and I visited the Burlington Arcade, followed by the nearby Fortnum and Mason. Thereafter we went to browse Harrods but didn't have time for Harvey Nicks. Caught the bus to Whole Foods Kensington to buy something eat in their sit down area and then walked back to the car near Olympia to drive back to Canterbury. It was another long day! Anyhow, as always I will most certainly catch up on ALL our videos, just that we have been so busy lately. Also, we are off the Blenheim Palace on Thursday. Anyhow Thank You for this and talk soon!

  6. Well Watched Walker (WWW), something very unusual happened today. Mum and I managed to watch this lovely videos of yours! It was truly fantastic! I was somewhat aware of the Royal Arcade but this video of yours highlighted it. Will make a note to visit it in the future. Totally recognized the Burlington Arcade of course as we were just there a few days ago and we've been there in past years as well. Didn't realize that if one walks to the far end of the Burlington Arcade and then turns left and then right, there is that lovely street with yet another lovely decorated building and Christmas tree in the street! We were just a few steps away and never even knew of this. We simply turned around to walk back through the Burlington Arcade a second time and on to Fortnum and Mason! Quite gutted at that!

Anyhow, we still have many more of your Christmas videos to catch up on and no doubt more to come. Rest assured we will absolutely watch each and every one given time. As mentioned in another comment, we are off to Blenheim Palace on Thursday. There and back to Canterbury on the same day. Then off to Hampton Court Festive Fayre on Saturday. Exactly the same as last year and the exact same Thursday and Saturday respectively! Anyhow, take care and talk soon WW! I have to say, your videos make me not want to leave England now! They are having that much of a powerful effect on me. As much as I love Vancouver of course! 🇬🇧 🇨🇦

  7. Nice Christmas walk in Mayfair and its luxury stores.
Fenwick is always there and always surprises me.
The stores are beautifully but tastefully decorated.
Burlington Arcade is the ultimate, with top hat guards and I saw a shoe shiner!!.
It is splendid to see and to discover.
Thank you WW, I continue my discoveries.
