  1. I will be returning to Japan in February and it has been very refreshing to find your channel! Your content is straight to the point and curated very well. I anticipate your channel growing very fast especially with so many tourists seeking new places to visit with the borders reopening! Thank you again Kenchan!

  2. Kenchan, I live in Hawaii and have visited Japan back in early 80's with a JTB Tour, then once again while conducting some sales training in Tokyo and finally on a stopover while going to Singapore/Malaysia for a hospital staff training and grand opening. I've been planning a revisit to Japan next year (May 2023). I needed to do some pre-work planning. I plan to visit annually using Tokyo as a "home base" and then go out and back from outlying areas (i.e. Kishi Station in Wakayama; Nitama, Hiroshima, Osaka, etc). Our Family came to Hawaii from Hiroshima. While I am conducting research I came across your channel. You have done an excellent job in the production of your video segments. The theme / content is well thought out, the video and editing well done and your selection of background music excellent. I'll attempt to keep you updated on my research…there has been a lot using YouTube Channels, NHK Documentary, Soko Ga Japan etc. I find your channel be excellent for those who want a well thought out format. If you want a recommendation, perhaps you could do an updated visit to the Kishi Station in Wakayama. It's a good story on how a "Nekochan" saved the station / town. I want more specifics on what I can do in Wakayama since the ride out to Wakayama is going to be 5+ hours and I'd like to work around an overnight before heading back to Tokyo. By the way, another YouTuber who I came across who does a decent job is "kimdao". Keep up the good work. You can reach out to me at niidew@aol. com.

  3. thank you! we are going in november to japan and are staying in the toyosu area!

  4. Kenchan, Your video footage is excellent, what camera are you using? I am working on what I will bring on my trip(s). I've been putting Sony A6100, Sony RX100 vii and my GoPro9 vlogging trials. So far the GoPro9 seems to be the best for intended use. Using a Telesin necklace mount and made an elastic strap to keep camera from bouncing (will be creating a video on belt) . The stabilization is good and will work on audio / LAV set up. The second is the RX100 and finally the A6100.

Perhaps you can share what equipment you use for different applications on a separate video?

Perhaps you can share your audio source too?

  6. Hello Kengo-san! Your videos are very informative and helpful! I just did a short video about 100 Yen Shop. It’s less than 1 minute if you want to take a look.
I hope you can do a more detailed video about 100 Yen Shop. Keep up the great work! πŸ™πŸ˜„

  7. Can you show or do a video on Food Shopping stores ? Im not talking about 7 11 or family mart. Another video that would be good will be second hand stores that can be found in tokyo .

  8. Thanks for all this information. I have a question – we are going to be in Japan (toyko) in April and will be taking a cruise – but will spend 3 days in town – what is the best hotel to book near the port so that we can still enjoy the city and be close to the ship when it comes time to board?

  9. Thanks for the informative video which covers plenty of shopping ideas in Tokyo. Topics that I am particularly interested in are:1) antenna shops which I’ve never heard of; 2) the three iconic department stores which I’d feel a bit nostalgic to wander about; 3) stationaries from different Japanese brands which are worth browsing. I watched this video several times trying to catch every fascinating idea. Good jobπŸ‘πŸ»

  10. Kenchan, I just had to locate this Post thru History and Comment. I realized that I could not "Save" since there was no link to "Save". However, I did copy link and am having it send to me via email and will file away in Japan Trip email folder. Perhaps you can edit this Post and include Save? Thank You!
