ON THIS EPISODE:
After taking them around Manila’s uber busy business district and taking them to a drag show dance club, I take my friends to Metro Manila’s newest and biggest indoor dance and beach club, Cove Manila!
But before that, we also get to tour a Manila City Gem and one of its most preserved treasures: The Paco Park, a beautiful destination with a dark past. Let my friend Alfonso tell you more about that!
DISCLAIMER:
The information mentioned about the graves in Paco park (that it was a grave for babies) is correct, but it started during the Spanish era when people (mostly babies) were buried due to the cholera outbreak at that time. During World War 2, not only babies, but even men and women were killed during the conflict that was dubbed as Battle of Manila, and even ‘Rape of Manila,’ because Manila was technically caught between the American and Japanese war.
Please like and share if you would recommend Cove Manila to your friends! You can also subscribe to the channel for more of my adventures and life as an OFW in Japan!
