Turkish manti and gözleme are staples of Turkish cuisine wherever you are in Turkey, and as such, are an absolute must try street food in Turkey. Some people refer to them as Turkish dumplings or ravioli, but manti are so much more! The time taken to prepare manti comes from the heart, and the savoury yet sour yogurt sauce that manti are covered in, with sprinkles of mint or Aleppo pepper, makes them other worldly.
Gözleme is a very popular street food in Turkey, making it a must try! Close to a stuffed flatbread, they are made to order with amazingly fresh ingredients that can vary by region. We had to make sure that we tried this street food while we are in Trabzon, Turkey.
Manti and gözleme are both a must try street food when in Turkey, so make sure you put them both on your list of top foods to try on your next visit!

Nice Food Vlog again but why you dont move from Trabzon or make some trips to the Sümela Monastry or other nice places around ?
The highlands are there also very famous dor visiting or more east in Rize is everywhere Tea plantages 😉
Have a nice Christmas and stay safe 👍
Short Turkish Language tip.
The suffix -li means with. i.e. "kasarli" means "with kasar" and "peynirli" means "with peynir".
The suffix -i or -ği means "of". i.e. "boregi" means "borek of".
The sausage you had is more.like a Frankfurter but not as good. Turkish off the shelf sausages are rather bland. Sucuk which is.more like a Choriso is much better. Not worth wasting your time and money on Sosis.
You should also try fried manti.
Nice vlog but you may want to at least try to pronounce the dishes correctly 🤗❤️. Stay safe and Merry Christmas
By the time you return to Canada, the two of you will total 300 kg. Enjoy your meal. 😂😂😂😂
I wonder: Did u get the mantıs without garlic yoghurt? Normally mantı is always with garlic but I have heard they make also without garlic for tourists, because they think garlic could be strong for them. But mantı without garlic yoghurt is not mantı at all. 🙂
If u wanna make fake mantı, u can just make butter noodles and on your plate pour 3-4 spoons of garlic yoghurt on your noodles and u will love it <3
Love manti
Bonjour 🌹🌹🌹merci pour ce magnifique partage 🌹🌹🌹je vous souhaite de bonnes fêtes de fin d’année 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Mmmmm that whole meal looks delicious. How did you get through that all?
nice video 👏
I don't think they put lamb meat in mantı because lamb meat is so expensive it is probably beef.
Gozleme word origin come from word koz which mean roasted so it was kozleme but it was changed during the time become gozleme , nothing to do with eyes
why didnt u eat manti in kayseri= and why did u have to say turkish dumpling :
