HOTEL NEW GRAND is one of the most famous hotel in Yokohama area. It was founded in 1927, and the hotel became a historical symbol of the exotic port city of Yokohama.
The interior is a classic western style. You can enjoy the fantastic craftsman works of the historical building details. The room I stayed in was in the historical building wing, but there are also rooms on the new tower wing.
HOTEL NEW GRAND is known as its famous restaurant as well. Many western-style cuisines are originally brought from chefs in HOTEL NEW GRAND. If you visit HOTEL NEW GRAND, I recommend having a meal at the restaurant.
The hotel location is very convenient for sightseeing around the port area of Yokohama city. There is also the famous Chinese town nearby, just 5min from the hotel.
