Trivia: Believe or not, Kokubuncho will be much more crowded later at night than what you saw in this video. I arrived in Sendai around 10pm on my first day and I saw so many people there. Districts we call “Kanrakugai” are always crowded at late night. But I get too sleepy to shoot a video… 😄

    Thank you for sharing Sendai's night life. I have a very special feeling towards this city, as my very first Japanese friend lived very near Sendai and he used to send me pictures from there. A really nice man, who loved nature, kind Takao Otsuka. He and his family were really worried when the 2011 tsunami damaged Fukushima Nuclear Plant, and moved to a city on the Sea of Japan. He has already died but I keep good memories of his kind friendship. Take care, Yoshi san! 🤗
