I visited the Nebuta Museum “WA-RASSE” and it was fantastic!!! The museum introduces the history of the Aomori Nebuta Festival and you can experience the floats close up as well as the music and learn how they are made and even touch them!
They have four full-sized floats on display and one is more stunning than the next. It is an amazing place to come to if you cannot visit in August when the festival is held, but I even thought having time and really checking them out was amazing!
So if you love local festivals and Japanese culture then this museum should definitely make it onto your travel list 😉
