I have followed you for quite a while. This trip was one of your best. It provided a inside view of Afghanistan and there people and the beauty of there country. However, what sadden me was not seeing the women of Afghanistan and knowing there views and more about how they live. I would really like to know more about the women of Afghanistan. Decades of unrest have resulted in people's demeanor and how they approach a foreigner. Those who wished for or attempted to convert you are not from the main communities of Kabul, but rather along with most adult inhabitants of Kabul are from other provinces and villages with low to no education. A quick Google search of the 70s Afghanistan will give you a clearer image and critical info about the nation. Stay safe & positive!

Truly beautiful country and people. I had the opportunity to work as a DOD contractor at Bagram '04-'06. I always wonder and worry about the locals I worked with after the withdrawal. Never forget many of them traveled miles to come and work at Bagram, Airbase. Experience of a lifetime. Hopefully Afghanistan bounces back.
