Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was the first roller coaster ever added to Epcot. This is the world’s longest indoor roller coaster with just over 1 mile of track. The ride features a prototype spinning coaster system from Vekoma and it’s the first ride at the Walt Disney World resort themed to Marvel. And it also may be Disney’s best coaster ever!

Yay! It’s finally here!
This is like top 3 coasters I wanna experience
Epcot is my favorite Disney park, this coaster should boost this park into one of my favorites
This ride is just super amazing, thanks for the great review!
Neat.
Fantastic review!! I'm hoping to ride this some time next year
Haven't been to Disney since 2019, no idea when I'm going back. This looks great, but I doubt it would beat my current favorite Disney ride, Tower of Terror.
I’ve been waiting a whole 2 days for this
Would you say this or hagrids is better?
That's the moon! 😂 21:17
I didn't even realize this thing went 60 mph, either. I told my parents it went 50 💀
This looks like a great family coaster. Vekoma really has improved over time, they went from boring loopers and slc’s to models like the shockwave, the space warp, the Bermuda blitz, and the wildcat. Nice review though, keep up the great work!
This is what avengers flight force wishes it was
Awesome review of such an awesome ride!
couple of questions regarding the virtual queue and ILL. I want to do a 1 day visit coming up soon and I want to visit Animal Kingdom in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon. If I'm physically near the park can I reserve a virtual queue since I can't physically enter until 2 pm? Also for ILL, can I reserve it before I get into the park? I've never been so this is all new to me and I don't want to visit if I can only do 1 ride.
the fact that you went from being a Epcot visitor to being a Member of The Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing immersion. also they added some bittersweet easter eggs from Ellen's Energy Adventure.
I was lucky enough to grab individual lightning lanes for myself and my family when I was there in June, for the last session of the night I believe, 8-9pm. No joke, this rollercoaster was mind blowing and it was potentially the most fun I’ve ever had on a rollercoaster. We also happened to coincidentally get my parents favourite song, disco inferno by the trammps. Despite being an enthusiast, I didn’t do any research into this coaster and was therefore unaware that was a potential track and it put a huge smile on my face when we got it. The coaster is also deceivingly quick with strong positive Gs as well as a couple of sharp pops of airtime. It’s truly an incredible rollercoaster and is one of the best rides I’ve ever experienced.
I went on this right after it opened so it’s not super fresh in my mind but I don’t remember getting any airtime. It might be because I was in the second car. Also that building was freezing once the ride started.
Do you know if you skip the line if you have a DAS (Disability Access pass [since I have a disability])
whats your team, then?
mine's Skeledirge, Spidops, Clodsire, Ceruledge, Tinkaton, and Klawf.
5:16 this maybe a hot take but I would watch Cars 2 and Chicken Little on a double feature over dealing with this stressful boarding passes experience
I can't wait to ride it! I've seen the cars at the testing facility. Paired with the theming it really looked like a "home RUN" for the park. This will kick Epcot into its NEXT phase. I have a pix of Space Ship Earth as a screen saver on my phone. The Epcot "nerd" that I am. LOL! Thanks for the review! The irony is that there are now 2 attractions side by side that have barf bags you can use.
Disney making it way to complicated
It is an incredible coaster. Best ride in Epcot and one of the best in WDW with Avatar Flight of Passage.
I’m in love with this ride!!! If this isn’t the most fun Disney roller coaster I don’t know what is! Also it was so cool seeing the true layout, I had no idea that first element was a banked camelback
I’d have to say the Everybody Wants To Rule the World works great, I had high expectations but easily a top 25 roller coaster
I really enjoy the reviews, however it would improve video quality if you add some quited backround music. Anyways as always fanatastic review.
This while virtual queue line thing is insane. I feel like I’d get totally confused. Hopefully it will be gone by February when I’m going for the first time.
That virtual queue system sounds so stressful to me. I have talked to people who say that they absolutely love the chaotic stress of it. I probably would be able to figure it out, even though I'm not tech savvy, but I wouldn't enjoy it like others do. I appreciate you explaining it in detail, in case I need to use it. It does seem like a great attraction.
I dont beleve this thing cost 450 mil bc vekoma rides are not super expencive
I lack the degree in IT needed to snag a ride on this, so it will probably some time for me. Thanks once again for a great descriptive review!
It's too bad that the M-SHE-U and its Phase Bore are absolute trash these days
I currently work for this attraction and it is considered to be a smart ride system and its quite easy to operate, but training for it is a BEAST. Its such a massive layout being inside the "gravity box" is quite intimidating because you feel so small. Vekoma packed in an incredible amount of track in this space that weaves under and around itself and the huge panoramic set multiple times. Riding this with the lights on is quite frightening because of all the head chopper moments that you don't see in the dark. What I will tell you is that you are correct, VQ will be leaving after the holidays so expect an announcement very early next year.
Is this more intense than Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain?
OMG listening to everything involved is giving me an effin headache. I was thinking of picking up a day at EPCOT next year as part of my vacation but now I'm not so sure I want to deal with all of the BS.
