The Wickaninnish Inn is situated on a rocky outcrop between the Pacific Ocean, Chesterman Beach, and a forest of giant evergreens. Artists, including the celebrated wood carver Henry Nolla, designed elements of its two buildings, with the aim of blending art, nature and culture. The rooms have picture windows that offer expansive views of the open coastline.
The Wickaninnish Inn offers direct access to Chesterman Beach, and panoramic ocean and beach views.
Chesterman Beach stretches for over 3 km from Rosie Bay, sweeping out to Frank Island, and then northward to the Wickaninnish Inn.
The Wickaninnish Inn story begins way back in 1955, and is closely tied to the modern-day history of Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
