Japan, one of my favourite countries in the world. The safest, cleanest and most advanced place on earth. However is there a side to Japan that you don’t expect? A side that nobody has shown before? Myself and Mr @bald and bankrupt travelled to the west of Japan and found a abandoned town that will blow your mind. π―π΅

Fan meet up at Show Club Manilla tonight at 9pm. See you guys there!
This is what dystopia looks like.
The tourist sites are still relatively quiet because the Chinese tourists haven't been let back in yet.
You guys still in Japan?
Great video, my friend! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next Japan episode
If you're going to Taiwan next Bald would appreciate the last dictator there had a soviet wife. Interesting history. Worth reading about.
Thanks to Bald, Iβm a new subscriber π
About the reality of Japan ππ₯π’ 10 million houses have been abandoned depopulation is real. Many Cities / Towns / villages partially or totally abandoned & in some only few elderly people are living. Instead of having Babies, they have 11 million cats 10 million dogs & millions of other pets. Last decade 10 to 20 million people count decreased of the population. Awash with $1500 billion foreign reserves but by 2050 / 2100 population will decrease by millions. Millions of spinsters out there …..count the amount of Pubs in Tokyo / Osaka ππ’ it's a real sad state in Japan. Loneliness is making elderly to jump into moving trains & commit suicide & on the other hand Karoshi is another real menace. Elderly has to work even after their retirement coz there is dire shortage of workers & this is due to the Absent mindedness of the Government & Japan is the most highly regimented society in the world. The abandon buildings & closed outlets you see is nothing new to Japan. Depopulation & Deflation was there for decades & only inflation you see now is due to the Covid RECESS & related inflation. Yes Food is a delicacy. Once a great Nation is going down the drain & it's same in South Korea, Taiwan & Europe. Japan & Europe needs 50 million workers each to keep it's economy ticking, now in Australia there's a massive worker shortages & even Canada it's same
All the empty structures it looks like America's Midwest

shouldn't you be in Qatar right now? with the national team at the world cup? Revoke his passport England and Don't let him back in!π Treachery
I actually rather enjoyed your latest video particularly as I watched just after Baldβs take. Whatever you really feel about the Japanese and Asians in general, at least you attempted to be respectful. Your video exposes Bald for the arrogant ahole he truly is. Hope he changes. Keep up the good work.
Hope you plan on going to S Korea since youβre so nearby.
Ta-Pie Taiwan…I hear its nice this time of year π Great video mate
Different angle to Baldβs video.
I can finally see how he handles his camera, still not sure what model and how he gets it so smooth & not shaky while walking though.
That town looks the same on Street View, probably from a few years ago.
Best vlogging team of the year
Iβve heard Japan is expensive, but you are now in Vietnam, enjoy the trip north to southππ»
Belting video mateβ¦ pure comedy gold. I hope thereβs a few videos from your Japan trip. Dragging B&B along with you definitely makes the videos more entertaining with hilarious banter.
I've never felt such a sense of pleasure as when I saw the minute mark cross 34:03. Good fun, two Bens.
Ben, I believe we have a language barrier. Please explain the difference between βshaggedβ and βknackeredβ. I apologize for my ignorance. LOL.great vid buddy!!
What was the song starting at 8:54? I'm sure i recognize it
The Converse has seen better days
Ben said they were kicked out of the place but the guy was simply saying they cannot serve tea and coffee around 18:30. The place seems to be a local izakaya. The place mostly serves Japanese traditional foods (sashimis/grilled fishes etc) and people go in to get alcoholic drinks. It was still a daytime so the izakaya probably had some japanese style set meals for lunch. The guy probably thought the Bens want some "western style" light meals (like sandwiches)/or were looking for cafes (and get coffee and cakes) and insisted on saying "No" because they clearly cannot fulfil the demand. The guy, however should have explained more (even in japanese language) and said something other than just "No."
