いつも高速道路や有料道路を使わずにドライブし、車中泊をしているINU。
たまには高速道路を使ってサクッと目的地に行き、ホテルでのんびり過ごしたりするのもいいんじゃないかということで、今回は高速道路を使って東京から東北へ行き、東北地方に２店舗あるプリンスホテル（岩手県の雫石プリンスホテルと秋田県の十和田プリンスホテル）に宿泊する事にしました。出発日の半日前（前日の夜）にふと思いついたのですが、平日だったのでホテルの予約は前日でも問題なくとれました。
なぜプリンスホテルなのか？ それは、単に同行カメラマンがプリンスホテルの会員だというそれだけの理由です。
紅葉の時期は過ぎていたので諦めていましたが、なかなか見事な紅葉を見ることができました。
帰りに、東日本大震災の津波の爪痕（震災遺構）も見てきました。

INU always drives without using highways or toll roads and only stays overnight in the car.
We thought it would be nice to use the expressway once in a while to get to a destination quickly and spend some time relaxing at a hotel.
Half a day before departure (the night before), it suddenly occurred to us that this time we would use the expressway to go from Tokyo to Tohoku and stay at two Prince Hotels in the Tohoku region (Shizukuishi Prince Hotel in Iwate Prefecture and Towada Prince Hotel in Akita Prefecture) to enjoy the drive.
Since it was a weekday, hotel reservations could be made the day before without any problems.
Why the Prince Hotel? The reason is simply that the accompanying cameraman is a member of the Prince Hotel.
We had given up because it was past the season for autumn leaves, but We were able to see some quite spectacular foliage.
We also saw the remains of the damage caused by the tsunami from the Great East Japan Earthquake (the remains of the Great East Japan Earthquake).
