Today we’re travelling even further south to the Chilean city of Punta Arenas, and we’re also going to be taking you out for some delicious Chilean seafood!

So far, buses have been our main way of travel across Patagonia, and we continued with that theme as we journeyed from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas. It was about a 3-hour journey, so relatively short for this part of the world!

Once we arrived in Punta Arenas, we checked in to our AirBnB and went out for dinner. We came across a restaurant called Estilo Magallánico that specializes in Chilean seafood dishes. We ordered the ceviche with avocado as a starter and it was divine. Then for the main dishes, we got king crab casserole in a rich and creamy sauce with lots of cheese! And we also ordered the parmesan scallops in a buttery sauce. Every thing was delightful! We seriously loved the food at this place – if you ever find yourself in Punta Arenas and want to try some Chilean seafood dishes, you need to come here!

We then had a pretty chill afternoon in the apartment. We had been travelling for almost 3 months at this point, so we were pretty tired. But don’t worry, in the next video we’ll be showing around Punta Arenas’ main attractions, and we’ll also visit a couple of different restaurants and continue sampling Chilean dishes. See you then!

  1. That was a pins and needles moment as I held my breath wondering who would win: Sam vs broken cork!

  2. Sleeping is separate rooms? Not my choice of sleeping arrangements if I had such a beautiful wife, but I'll take your word for it that it's just a breather to avoid Sam's tossing. You did pick up a copy of the Kama Sutra during your travels in india, right? 😉

  3. Watched all the food and treats you ate in Argentina. Also all the pastries in Europe and all the candy you bought I believe from Argentina, that you sampled for us, plus all the wine and beer, yet you two seem to stay in great shape. Is it all the walking you do, what's your secret? I'am from Victoria and hope to make it down to Argentina and Chile when the virus is over. Can't wait to sink my teeth into that beef in Argentina.

  4. I had mentioned I had 4 dogs and one was 14.5 years old. She passed away today. She lived two and a half years longer than her breed normally lives. She was the love of my life. Always greeted me at the door. Broken hearted.

  5. Hola me gustan lo q hacen los empecé a seguir me encantan los2 exitos .Solo q lo hacen en inglés xq no en español ?😘

  6. Ok Sam, with the beard! I'm feeling it. It's giving the hunter from Jumanji vibes… Exquisite! Loved this vlog that ceviche looks so good. Tfs y'all.

  7. Take a look at the article " Why Fish and Red Wine Don't Mix" – Science magazine, and see what types of red wine can be paired with seafood.

For dried cork use two blade cork removers.

  8. i love how you list your gear but can you tell me about those bags you use to pack your stuff into, then you put them into your duffle type bag…we leave in less than 2 weeks for 2/12 weeks in patagonia and 3 days in santiago to start and 3 days in BA to end….i love the organization as my husband and i might share a bag…and hes a bit messy and im more organized…lol….tips?…plus ive been watching your videos, but if you have some DONOT MISS food places, food items to try etc…please bring it on…lol and thanks for all your great videos!

  9. I traveled to punta arenas 5 years ago to try my luck in a new job. I'm still here, not planning to leave ever again
