[THE BEST AIRLINES] After 2 years of waiting, I finally got the chance to fly on Taiwan’s newest airline, Starlux Airlines (星宇航空). This new airline commenced their first flight back in January 2020, and cancelled all their flight in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was supposed to fly on it in March 2020 from Taipei to Penang, however, it was cancelled. The most anticipating moment is here and the experience never disappoints me. Today, I will be flying from Kuala Lumpur – Taipei

Starlux Airlines adopts very trendy and classy design. From its hard products to onboard cabin design. First of all, cabin crew are amazing. They are so friendly and polite. Throughout the service, the always use polite servicing phrases such as “Excuse me, Sorry, Please, Would you…, Thank you…” and etc. I would say their cabin crew are the greatest publicity or marketing of the airlines. Also, this is very much related to Taiwan’s hospitality and culture. Kudos to all the cabin crew.

Many claimed that Starlux Airlines has the best inflight meals. It’s true. I also tried my partner’s meal and it’s so delicious. Looking at the meal tray, it’s full of meals, fruits, dessert, salad and a hot bun. They also provide metal cutlery set for customers. All seats are provided a pillow, blanket and headset for inflight entertainment. The IFE screen is very responsive and plenty of choices can be found in the movie selection. Passengers can also view the menu from the screen. Starlux Airlines have their own designed cocktail, Sci-Fi Cosmos 2.0 is the most famous one. Since many countries have opened the border, Starlux is opening up more destinations with their new fleet. My next target would be their A330-900neo and of course the brand new A350-900, with the first ever first class cabin in Taiwan-based airlines.
