Thanks for watching everyone! Are you interested in these types of non-aviation videos? Don't worry, I'll also keep doing plane videos too. Please comment below and let me know!
What is the section of the Titan II you didn't visit shown in the near distance at 3:46? Did it have a placard describing what it is?
Once again a brilliant video. Absolutely fascinating π
Thanks for sharing, very interesting π
This video is cool Paul and fits in with your normal Aircraft ones. I like it
Great video. And it explains why we moved to solid fuel rockets. They don't need to be refueled, and are hard to iginite, so no accidents.
So much 1960's technology. I do have to ask if it has the old military equipment smell.
I do think the tunnels remind me of the Stargate SG-1 series.
I spent a month covering only part of what you did. Need to go back and do the West Coast. Very interesting place the Titan Missle Silo even if just to see what you only saw in the movies for real. Did you notice the highway signs were in KM's on the way there? Mate thought I was seeing things.
small enough to put into a shipping container and park it anywhere in they want.. scary stuff!!
Hey paul- I have a question. I'm hoping to do some form of aviation vlog soon but i need some tips on how to make a good one like you, especially considering how bad my first one was.
Cheers!
Awesome video Paul. You go to great effort for these detailed look videos! If you ever get the opportunity, check out the museum at Los Alamos, worth the effort
Someone has to stay it. Saying "ICBM Missile" is like saying intercontinental ballistic missile missile" haha. Only stirring and I know what you mean and love your work. Something a bit different to planes but still 'boisterous' and I'm sure 90% of your subscribers would still be interested in this. Thanks!

What happened to the guy who dropped the wrench? I hope he didn't get in trouble.
ALL NEWHAVE SOLID FUEL! ALMOST 50 YEARS OF FIRST ON NUCLEAR SUBMARINE
It's pronounced AR-KAN-SAW – not AR-KAN-SAS
Paul as always a great vlog !
Shopping for a new home ? Apparently it is a popular thing to do buy an old silo and convert it
Visted there last year. Was a Communications Tech for that site and the other 17 from 1978 to 1982.
'Watch for Rattlesnakes', yeah, that's kind of an important sign…
Fantastic video π Thankfully they were never fired in anger π Hi from Belfast Northern Ireland π ps @11:29 …I can hear the Yanks saying It's pronounced Akan-saw ππ€£ Mind you they have problems pronouncing Northern Irish place names

It always fascinated me that nuclear launch centers (be it missile silo's or submarines) had the secret codes in the safe…yet the people at mission control had the same codes.
It reminds me of the magic card trick when the magician says…"Is THIS your card?". How and when they get the codes on the submarine/silo's, and how did they know WHICH codes to place in the safe??
Great video!
I finally got to visit the Minute Man visitor center in western South Dakota last year. Really interesting stuff! They had the under ground silo tours closed at the time (which were at a different location 2 mile away) but the main center was worth the visit.
The silo's are 1/2 mile off the interstate and not even hidden. If you didn't know what the little building and mound of dirt was 'over in that pasture', you'd totally pass it off as an abandoned farm from the 1920's with only a single out building left standing.
The movie 'The Day After' still makes me nervous when I watch it.
A video showing how these installations were actually built and wired would be epic. Most of those types just show things being put together. I'd like to know how they figured out which wire goes to what connector…and how they connected the missile stuff to the launch control panel.
I guess hook the red wire to + and the black wire to – π
Imagine going top side to wire the door to the underground panel and forgetting your light tester lol! π³π€¨π
I have been to this site many times. It never gets old and is a MUST see if you are in Arizona. Great video!!
Thanks for the memories Paul! I was stationed there from 1977-80 as a missile tech, engine and "handling". My first USAF assignment, then trained to aircraft maintenance.
BTW, kudos to your thoroughness for mentioning the Titan 2 being used for the Gemini program.
